On Wednesday the 18th November we were honoured to welcome the President of Iceland to the SOLIVUS office at Sustainable Ventures.

Madam President Halla Tómasdóttir is Head of State for Iceland and a huge advocate for renewable innovation. Our CEO, Jo, had the opportunity to tell her about the Solivus journey using our story wall and then joined other business' from the SV community for a Q&A with the president and her entourage.

A huge thank you to Sustainable Ventures who organised the event. President Tomasdottir was super supportive and encouraging to the start ups she was introduced to and spoke of how countries need to collaborate and stick together to support renewable innovation. She also mentioned how Iceland is powered by geothermal and girl power! A great uplifting moment for the team.
